Lisbon Sight Sailing, in partnership with the prestigious Chaves de Ouro Association, organized an exclusive event for Concierges on May 28, aboard a catamaran sailboat. From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the event brought together more than 20 concierges from different luxury hotels, providing a unique experience, full of good food, excellent music, in a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere.
The Golden Keys and Excellence in Concierge Service
Portugal’s Golden Keys are the national representation of the internationally renowned Les Clefs d’Or organization, made up of the world’s best hotel concierges. Founded in 1971, this association distinguishes itself by promoting excellence in concierge service in the country’s top hotels. Its motto, “Service through friendship”, reflects its commitment to sharing experiences, the continuous development of its members and collaboration with partners in the tourism sector.
The Association is recognized for its significant contribution to national tourism, having been awarded the Gold Medal of Merit Turístico in 1995. The Boat Tour
The event on the Tagus was the highlight of the collaboration between Lisbon Sight Sailing and the Golden Keys. The concierges, representing renowned hotels such as Four Seasons, Corinthia, Penha Longa Resort, Epic Sana Marquês, Tivoli Avenida da Liberdade, Sofitel, Sheraton, Bairro Alto Hotel, Hyatt Regency, and Palácio da Anunciada, among others, had the opportunity to enjoy a boat tour in a privileged setting, such as the Tagus River.
On board, exquisite catering was served, with fresh fruit, a selection of cheese and sausage platters, various grilled dishes, concluding this gastronomic experience with traditional Portuguese sweets – delicious “ovos moles”.
The atmosphere was further enlivened by the presence of saxophonist Ivan Silva, whose talent was highly praised by the participants. The live music helped create a sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere, ideal for a networking event between professionals in the tourism sector.
