Albufeira Marina

Albufeira Marina is located at the mouth of the Ribeira de Albufeira, next to Alemães Beach, in the western part of the city, and is one of the busiest nautical hubs in the Algarve.

Opened in the early 2000s, the marina was built from an old fishing port and developed as a recreational infrastructure, with direct access to the sea and immediate proximity to Albufeira’s historic center.

The marina has 475 berths for vessels of different sizes, from small pleasure craft to sailboats and larger boats, with support services such as fuel, electricity, water, a captaincy, and crew support. The surrounding area includes a small commercial hub with restaurants, cafes, and shops geared towards the nautical and tourism sectors, making the marina not just a mooring point but also a space for staying and leisure.

The location is particularly convenient for those organizing boat trips along the Algarve coast: from Albufeira Marina, you can quickly reach points of interest such as São Rafael Beach, Coelha Beach, and other typical rock formations along the coast between Albufeira and Armação de Pêra, making it a natural starting point for coastal tours, dolphin watching, and diving or snorkeling experiences.

In terms of access, the marina is just a few minutes’ walk from the center of Albufeira and is served by a road network that easily connects to the A22 (Via do Infante), facilitating access from other areas of the Algarve.
