Team building and networking on the move

The popularity of these fairs is undeniable. Days filled with meetings, presentations, lectures, and demonstrations require energy and concentration. However, it is equally important to create moments of relaxation and strengthen interpersonal relationships, and this is where an opportunity that many have yet to explore comes in: boat tours on the Tagus River, departing from the Parque das Nações Marina.

The FIL’s privileged location, next to the Tagus, allows exhibitors, visitors, and business teams to make an immediate transition from the intense atmosphere of the fairs to the relaxing atmosphere of the river. About a 30-minute walk from the venue, the Parque das Nações Marina offers modern and comfortable boats, ready to provide exclusive experiences.

For companies participating in these fairs, organizing a boat trip after a day’s work is more than just leisure time: it is a strategic team-building tool. In a relaxed setting, employees strengthen bonds, partners strengthen business relationships, and customers enjoy an experience associated with the brand that invites them.

There are many options: from small private sunset cruises, ideal for teams, to private events on board, with catering and music, designed to welcome international customers with a touch of typical Lisbon sophistication.

An antidote to the stress of trade shows

Participating in a trade show involves long hours on your feet, constant contact with people, and continuous pressure to achieve goals. When you embark on a trip on the Tagus River, all of that gives way to a relaxing experience with breathtaking views of Lisbon: the Vasco da Gama Bridge, the Cable Car, the Vasco da Gama Tower, the Myriad Hotel, and the Lisbon Oceanarium are just a few examples.

The sound of the river, the tranquil pace of the boat trip, and the natural surroundings act as an antidote to stress, allowing you to recharge your batteries for the next day.

By combining participation in trade fairs such as BTL or TEKTÓNICA with an exclusive moment on the Tagus, companies not only offer their employees and partners a unique experience, but also extend the visibility of their presence in Lisbon. It is a way of transforming intense business days into memories that combine professionalism and leisure.

With the calendar of major events for 2026 already confirmed, Parque das Nações reinforces its role as a center for business and innovation. Because after a day at the fair, nothing feels better than swapping the noise of the pavilions for the sound of the waters of the Tagus.
