Lisbon is a destination that attracts tourists from all over the world. Recently, two American families visiting the city for the first time decided to enjoy a unique experience: a private and exclusive boat tour with diving in Lisbon.
Here’s how the unforgettable day went for these two family friends.
Family day
The two families, made up of seven people – four adults and three teenagers – were staying at the same hotel in central Lisbon. Full of enthusiasm to get to know the city from a new perspective, they opted for a private transfer that took them directly to the Docas, where the Lisbon Sight Sailing team was waiting for them.
At around 10 a.m., everyone was on board, ready to start the tour. The sun was shining brightly in the morning, promising a perfect summer’s day.
Getting to know Portuguese monuments from another perspective
As the boat sailed along the waters of the Tagus, everyone was able to admire some of Lisbon’s historic monuments from a privileged angle. According to our guests, the Belém Tower and the Discoveries Monument stood out, providing countless opportunities for incredible photos.
When they arrived in Cascais, the teenagers, curious about the new experience, were the first to venture out for a swim. The waters of the Atlantic were inviting, and soon the adults joined in the fun. During this time, there was also no shortage of stand-up paddle boards, which we had brought along for the teenagers.
Lunch on board
At around 2pm, after lots of laughter and diving, a delicious lunch was served on board. The dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and typical of Portuguese cuisine, pleased everyone. They were able to enjoy a moment of fraternization and relaxation.
The day was spectacular and there was plenty of time to soak up the sun.
Back to Lisbon
Afterwards, with dessert already in theirs bellies, the boat headed back to Lisbon. The atmosphere of satisfaction and joy was evident on everyone’s faces. During the afternoon, they had time to enjoy the views and share stories and experiences of the United States with the crew.
The boat tour ended at 6pm. The families said goodbye to the crew with words of thanks and praise for the experience.
Positive Feedback
The feedback from the families was extremely positive. They highlighted the impeccable organization, the friendliness and professionalism of the crew, and the beauty of the views they were able to enjoy during the tour. For everyone, it was a day full of good times… and family dives in the Atlantic Ocean. 😉
