Between the heat beating down on the “green carpet” of Algés, the endless queues for everything and the packed train reeking of a mixture of beer and sun cream, there’s always that moment when you think: “Is this really worth it?” The answer is a resounding yes, but only if you know how to play this game with strategy, a fit body… and an escape plan to the Tagus.
You want to feel the bass rumbling in your chest when Foo Fighters take the stage, but you also know that three days straight of traffic and aching feet are unforgiving. You want to sing along with Florence + The Machine, but you also dream of five minutes of silence, without crowds or jostling, just you and the sound of water lapping against the hull of a sailboat.
This is where Lisbon Sight Sailing comes in: not as “just another activity”, but as an escape between the chaos of the festival and the city that never sleeps.
The Tagus is your backstage
NOS Alive 2026 already has its dates set: the Passeio Marítimo de Algés welcomes the “best line-up, ever” on July 9, 10, and 11, 2026. While thousands of people prepare for the “massacre” of the queues, the most experienced festival-goers already know the secret: the best way to experience the festival starts (or recovers) on board.
We believe that music goes hand in hand with the sea. That’s why we’ve put together this guide to help you make the most of the concerts, combining urban culture with the luxury of having the river all to yourself.
The 2026 line-up is one to remember. If you’re planning to get to the venue via the Tagus, this is what you can expect:
- July 9: The intensity of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and the explosion of Twenty One Pilots. You can also count on A Perfect Circle, Matt Berninger, Dogstar and the soul of Alabama Shakes.
- July 10: The pure rock of Foo Fighters and Wolf Alice. The day also brings the power of Skunk Anansie, The War On Drugs, and the pop of Zara Larsson.
- July 11: An epic closing with Florence + The Machine and Lorde. This day also marks the exclusive return of Buraka Som Sistema, along with Pixies and Noiserv.

Premium experiences on the River Tagus
If you’re looking for something that goes beyond simply ‘going to a concert’, we have the perfect addition:
- Sunset “Warm-up” Party: Why wait for the festival speakers when you can have your own playlist on a private boat? Having a drink with friends at sunset, passing by MAAT and the Belém Tower without crowds, sounds like the perfect plan.
- Companies and Groups: If you’re heading to NOS Alive with your team or clients, forget hotel lobbies. The real “VIP box” in Lisbon is on board. It’s the ideal place for networking before the show begins.
By 2026, we want the Tagus to be a natural extension of the festival for everyone involved in making it happen. We’re ready to welcome bands, artists, brands and sponsors, as well as production teams and the press!
On board, the atmosphere can be personalised with music, catering and a photo booth, without any of the pressure or noise associated with areas where large crowds gather.
From the Docks to Alfama, via Belém: The route

The routes, durations and timings can be tailored to your needs, but here’s a suggestion:
The boat route begins at Doca de Santo Amaro (Docas), under the 25 de Abril Bridge. After boarding, we head west to pass in front of the NOS Alive venue at Passeio Marítimo de Algés, allowing you to feel the festival’s energy and see the event structure from a privileged perspective on the river. The sailing continues by crossing the Tagus towards the south bank to pass near Cristo Rei, where the monumental scale of the sanctuary and its framing with the bridge create a fascinating backdrop for photos. From this point, the boat heads to historic Lisbon, sailing up the river to Alfama to take in the old city skyline before beginning the return journey to the Docks.
This route combines the festival’s atmosphere with the grandeur of Belém and the charm of Alfama, simplifying logistics and allowing for a return to the city with the entire riverside area in full view.
NOS Alive 2026 is going to be memorable, but your stay in Lisbon can be epic. Don’t just be another face in the crowd. Sail with us and discover why the Tagus is, in fact, the best stage in the city.
