Wavecom – With wave in the name but no waves in the river
Wavecom is a communications engineering company that focuses on innovation and creating distinctive solutions. Founded in 2000, it quickly gained recognition in the market as specialists in wireless technologies. Currently headquartered in Aveiro, they have offices in Portugal, Spain, and Africa.
This event took place on a sunny day in June, along the banks of the Tagus River, which provided the perfect setting for an unforgettable day. Guests boarded at Doca de Recreio de Santo Amaro and began their cruise. The catamaran was ready to welcome the group of 16 guests, all holding important positions such as CEOs, General Directors, and IT Directors. These individuals chose our company to enjoy a relaxed break while making the most of their final days in Lisbon.
During the cruise, guests enjoyed a relaxing atmosphere while savoring a selection of drinks and appetizers. The DJ’s work contributed to creating the ideal ambiance throughout the team-building activity.
Berg Lund & Company – From Germany to the Tagus River
Berg Lund & Company is a top management consultancy specializing in corporate strategy and digital transformation. Founded in 1999, it is constantly expanding its range of services. Currently headquartered in Hamburg, it has a team of excellent and experienced professionals.
In July this year, we had the privilege of welcoming this group of 40 German guests, employees of Berg Lund & Company, who were looking to strengthen team spirit. To do so, they chose Lisbon Sight Sailing to host their team-building activity.
During the two-hour walk, the group took the opportunity to “catch up on their tan” while enjoying a cold drink.
Summer is a fantastic time for those who want to explore Lisbon. Thanks to its climate and location, Portugal is known for having an average of nearly 300 days of sunshine per year. As such, this day was no exception.
To top it all off, the big surprise happened when, during the cruise, guests spotted a group of dolphins swimming near the boat. There was much excitement, as for many, it was the first time they witnessed such a moment—the perfect setting to end their stay in Lisbon!
Subsea7 – A day of renewed energy
Subsea7 is a global leader in delivering offshore projects and services for the energy industry, contributing to the growth of renewable and emerging energies. It has an established local presence in all major offshore energy regions worldwide, operating in more than 30 countries.
Lasting two and a half hours, the group of 27 guests of Portuguese and English backgrounds embarked on this adventure with us. On board, we had employees of the organizing company and their clients. In addition, guests were welcomed with music and a selection of refreshing drinks that helped create a welcoming atmosphere.
During the boat cruise, the group relaxed and enjoyed the stunning views of the city. It was an opportunity for everyone to learn a bit more about Lisbon while enjoying the serenity of the Tagus River.
